There is information on the MAC website about the program located under adult swim lessons and FACEBOOK.
An annual fee of $175 makes you a member of Footscray Swimming and Waterpolo Inc and registers you with Masters Swimming Victoria. For further information visit or email us. This fee does not include training sessions.
As a combined club (Masters swimming, Junior-Age swimming & Waterpolo) we run our club session every Sunday morning from 8.30am until approximately 11.00am when we run our Masters in-house competition alongside our junior competition. From 8.30am to 9.30am, Waterpolo training and members only lap swimming is held, followed by club racing (where we run our Masters in-house competition along side our juniors competition) and social get-together in the clubrooms (food and drinks available for purchase).
Our competition program for Masters includes 2 Aggregate (Summer and Winter) sessions, where points are awarded for improving previous personal best times (PB’s) for each stroke and distance swum during the session, with a trophy awarded to the member with the most points (most improved). We also run a championship session. Until we have sufficient numbers in each of the masters age groups, this will be determined as the person swimming closest to their age group masters state record compared to each of the competing age groups.
